Now with several locations throughout Jacksonville, the Maple Street Biscuit Company is making it’s mark in the city. Stop in for breakfast and try (i) The Blues Biscuit or (ii) The Farmer, they’re our favorites.

The rooftop bar at Black Sheep sets the scene for a great night out. But you better bring your appetite because their perfectly seasoned burgers will have your mouth watering.

You’re going to want to buckle up, because Taverna Yamas is going to take your taste-buds for a ride they can’t forget. Whether it’s char-broiled meats, fresh fish or a good gyro, Taverna has it all.
10. Bistro Aix
Bistro Aix boasts a romantic atmosphere, and arguably the best French cuisine in Jacksonville, and probably Florida. You’ll notice upon sitting that the service staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
Taco Lu’s has one of the coolest outdoor setups in Jacksonville. Come here for the tacos, and stay for the tequila.
8. Mezza Restaurant and Bar
Head to Mezza for live music on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and then for great food six nights a week. One look at their menu and you’ll be ready to make a reservation for tonight. We’d recommend the Mayport Shrimp Garganelle for any first-timers.

Biscotti’s was opened in 1993 and has been a cornerstone to the Jacksonville community ever since. With over 257 reviews on Yelp and a rating of 4.6/5 – let’s just say their food matches their reputation…it’s delicious. Head there for breakfast/brunch and you won’t be disappointed.
6. Potter’s House of Soul Food Bistro
Head down Atlantic Boulevard and get a little soul in the body! Potter’s serves up great Southern fare, and is considered by most as genuine southern food. Also, make sure to get a slice of peach cobbler for dessert.

If you’ve moved to Jacksonville from Chicago or NY and you’re craving pizza from back home, Carmine’s has got you covered. Serving both styles of pizza, and doing it well! This may be a tough challenge, but after you get some deep-dish in your belly, make sure to keep room their cheesecake, it’s fantastic.

Whether it’s sushi as seen above or traditional Pho soup that you’re craving, Bow of Pho is a great place to visit. Whenever you go there, expect to be back shortly after.

Chomp chomp is the only sound that you’ll hear once you enter this place. The menu is simple, but sometimes simplicity is beauty. It’s got the hole-in-the-wall feel with some of the best burgers/sandwiches in Jacksonville. Get some curry chips alongside your sandwich and you won’t be disappointed.

Orsay has great service, food and drinks. It’s the ‘go-to’ spot if you’re celebrating a special occasion as the food is nothing but top-notch. It’s frequently listed as the top restaurant in Jacksonville, and so it should be!
