David Frakt graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Irvine, where he was named "Outstanding Senior" of his graduating class. He graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1994 and became a licensed attorney that fall. He was commissioned as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG) and entered active duty as a military lawyer in 1995. David served multiple overseas tours and deployments and is the recipient of the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and numerous other awards and decorations. He was a Distinguished Graduate of Air Force Squadron Officer's School, a graduate of Air Command and Staff College and an Excellent Graduate of Air War College. After a distinguished 23 year career in the Air Force, David retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2018.
In addition to being a licensed Realtor, David is an active member in good standing with the Florida State Bar (license #0110040), admitted to practice in state and Federal courts throughout Florida.
